Rome, Venice, the Dutch Republic, Song China, the Soviet Union: every great civilization rose by following a few rules and declined by breaking them. We studied about two dozen of them and distilled the lessons into 12 Rules for the Ideal Society, from keeping money honest to choosing people by merit.
Then we apply those rules to real countries. Each country gets a scorecard against the 12 rules and a practical, phased plan for reform. The United States is first, and the rest of the world follows.
Leader scores. Every government leader gets a score from 0 to 100 based on how well their votes and stated beliefs line up with the rules. Right under each score is a list of every point they lost, with the vote or statement that cost it and a source link.
